When it comes to coyote, fox, and bobcat baits, this one ranks up in my all time favorite list. When most predator trappers think bait, they think rotted or tainted meat. Mark makes Widowmaker with a non tainted meat. Its surprising not to get nose-blasted with taint when you crack open a jar of it and take a sniff. Mark June’s opinion is that tainted meat baits tend to attract your non target animals (possums, skunks, coons, etc) and that tainted is best. I will not argue with him there.
I have put a lot of fur on stretchers using this bait. The winning combination of meats, glands and oils in this will catch the animals nose and turn them around.
